SEOUL (Reuters) – Official data released on Tuesday revealed that South Korea’s consumer prices increased by 3.1% in March compared to the same month the previous year, aligning with market forecasts of an unchanged annual rate from the preceding month.
Month-on-month, the consumer price index experienced a modest uptick of 0.1%, contrasting with February’s 0.5% increase and falling short of the 0.3% gain projected in a Reuters survey of economists.
